Analytics

SlangIt! runs a minimal first-party analytics pipeline to understand aggregate traffic (for example, how many daily visitors use the site). It does not use third-party advertising cookies or trackers. There are no ad-network scripts embedded in the site.

How we use the data

We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies and local storage

SlangIt! uses local storage and cookies / tokens to keep you signed in, persist your game state, remember your settings, and track session identity for multiplayer. These are essential to making the game work. You can clear them at any time from your browser's privacy settings — you will be signed out and local-only preferences will reset.

Data retention

Your rights

You can:

Children

SlangIt! is designed for a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction). Modern slang can be edgy, and we recommend an adult take the first look before younger players use the game. Accounts are not intended for under-13 users.

Security

Passwords are stored with bcrypt, sessions use signed tokens, and all traffic runs over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong unique password.

Changes

We may update this policy as the game evolves. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
