Modern slang plays score a 2×, 3×, or 4× multiplier on top of the standard crossword-style score. The stronger and more current the slang, the bigger the bonus. That means a short slang word can beat a long vanilla word — which is the core reason SlangIt! feels different.

The dictionary covers Gen Z, TikTok, Twitch, and conversational slang, and is refreshed as new vocabulary takes hold. Every accepted slang word flips up a definition card, so you also pick up new slang as you play.
Edgy or crass? You're in control
Real-world slang is sometimes edgy or crass. SlangIt! leans into that without being offensive — and in solo bot games and same-device pass-and-play, you can add any specific word to your personal blocklist so it won't appear in your own games.

The Slang Journal (inside the Stats menu) keeps a running list of every slang word you have discovered, with its definition. Log in and your Slang Journal saves to your account so it accumulates across games and devices.
